Past and Current Projects

Lone Pine Creek Noxious Weed Management
A direct assault on noxious weeds along County Road 74E involving all willing landowners. This was a very successful project, involving 60 landowners and spraying 90 acres of land for noxious weed control. Involving both the DOW, landowners and Larimer County Weed Division, the HPP committee is encouraged that participation will increase as the program continues.

By matching funds spent on weed control, the HPP and Larimer County are enabling landowners to perform sound land management practices that are extremely beneficial to wildlife habitat.
